THE BLACK WORSHIPER

You may have heard the offhand comment that everyone needs a black clothes in the wardrobe. Yes, it is true, the black clothes is a versatile item of clothing that can be worn for just about any occasion. What better way to dress yourself up than by slipping on your favourite, sleek dress. Better yet, it doesn’t need to be a formal affair for you to run the lint roller over it in preparation for its next wear. You can wear black clothes to work or save it for a special occasion.

Never one for fashion as an institution, my monochrome palette allowed to engage more with cut, fabric and style. Suddenly, it could actually figure out what looked best. And yes, there’s still certain illusion qualities to praise. 

WHAT THE FACT

 black is associated with art, sophistication and deep thinking. Because goodness knows my grasp on witty banter in public situations isn’t conveying any of that. At a party, lit from below by my glowing iPhone as I rapidly refresh Facebook while hoping I look both important and busy, I’m often ignored. Probably because they think I’m a human shadow.

THAT BLACK

Black is linked to power. It's an intimidating colour that shows that the person wearing is setting themselves apart from others. It's a colour that indicates strength and discipline. Black doesn't usually express many emotions; rather, it conceals them, giving the person in black an air of superiority.

Black, a colour that is considered to be quite elegant and simple at the same time. A black outfit can be seen as fancier than a colourful one. It's a colour used for special occasions.
